How long does it take to produce a DVD?
The length of our projects typically range from 2 months to one year. Each biography is custom produced, and some are more in depth. We can produce a biography within a timeframe if we begin soon enough in advance.

Relaxed, fun filled, conversational story telling made easy. Within minutes our 'guided interviewing techniques' will begin to draw out the history and stories of your family. You'll be amazed at how 'magic questions' will begin to reveal a wealth of untapped stories lying beneath the surface. Day after day, our silent camera will record forgotten stories of struggles and victories. We'll film your family members virtually overflowing with forgotten memories and untold stories. Overnight, fading memories will be brought back to life. Relive the connection to the stories of the birth, life and death of loved ones, friends and family.
Our simple but powerful, guided questions during the days of filming will trigger an astounding flow of personal stories and facts. You will be thrilled at the volumes of life experience that has been stored away, quietly waiting for someone who cares to gently draw it out while filming. And better yet... we'll put it all together in a powerful, real life documentary.
Far beyond the length of a feature movie! Your custom created, special edition DVD, will highlight the unique life and lives for whom this unrepeatable documentary will be made. Several sessions of prime camera time can be scheduled for interviews and filming to allow the process to be stress free and unrushed for all involved.

Life in Motion footage:
Through thoughtful pre-film planning with our clients we take the time to dedicate a significant segment of the final DVD with Life in Motion footage to show the essential real life, day-to-day activities that you love and enjoy.
Photographs:
Dust off those boxes of old photographs. You'll discover that among all that junk there are some priceless jewels. Collect the best ones. We'll carefully weave them into the video story.
Home Movie Footage:
We'll take key footage from your aging home movies and videotapes and with the latest digital technology available, transfer them throughout segments of the DVD while words of narration and family stories highlight the 'big picture' and relive history for all to enjoy and learn from for generations to come.
Your Musical Heritage:
Deepen the impact of the documentary with the addition of your favorite songs and music that hold meaning and pleasure for you. We'll strategically blend them into the background to tastefully enhance your unique audio-visual work of art. Give us the list and we'll do the rest.
Creating a Family Heirloom:
Your final documentary will become a treasured family heirloom. All of the above will be edited, blended, mixed and assembled into the 'best of the best' moments, interviews, stories, photos, testimonials, tributes and memories to create a powerful and emotional gift for you and your loved ones to enjoy always. You receive several first edition copies of the final DVD, enough for everyone to have their own copy. You will also own the copyright to reproduce it as often as you wish with no time limit. Plus we will include an additional CD of all of the scanned photos included in the documentary that you will have in your family archives for future generations.

People were astonished to see them, and it connected everyone from so many different time periods, eliciting heartfelt thanks and happiness that their four or five years here were part of something that has been so enduring. Some people (even I) went out to give the cornerstone a little pat to say thank-you to the folks who got us started. 7th & Fess will always be a special corner. University Lutheran may be 75 years old, but because of the continuing stream of faithful students she will remain forever young!
